用法說明
雖然news看起來是複數名詞，但事實上經常是不可數名詞，如Goodnewsisalwaysworthwaitingfor（好訊息永遠值得等待）。不能說anews；但當指某一特定事實或訊息時，可以說apieceofnews，如OneofmyDutchcolleaguestoldmeaveryexcitingpieceofnews（一位荷蘭同事告訴了我一個特別令人興奮的訊息）。當談論電視和廣播新聞或報紙新聞時，可以把單獨的故事或報導叫做newsitem。
